Lisheng Gao is a research analyst at Lux, and leads the Digital team’s coverage of sensor technologies. In this role, he leverages his technical expertise in sensor technologies, deep passion, and understanding in business to assess emerging technologies, such as energy harvesting sensors, ultra-wideband sensors, and biosensors.
Prior to joining Lux, Lisheng worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral associate focusing on high energy density batteries.
He holds a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University, where he authored 9 papers, led a technology transfer program and a technical consulting project to industrial clients to commercialize his research works.
