Oscar Gámez is a Senior Consultant at Lux Research. In this role, he helps top executives shape their innovation strategies in the energy domain. Oscar acts as a thought partner in the identification and prioritization of technology innovations, assessment of partnership candidates, design of market entry strategies, and development of technology roadmaps. He supports clients in achieving their decarbonization targets by leveraging his expertise in topics like hydrogen, carbon capture and utilization, batteries, power electronics, microgrids, and AI platforms, and more. Similarly, Oscar has helped clients in the agrifood and chemicals and materials spaces, among others.
Prior to joining Lux, Oscar worked at the Solar Energy Applications Centre of the Netherlands studying photovoltaics systems under partial shading conditions, focusing on the modeling of power electronics systems. Oscar also previously worked as a Software Engineer at Accenture, focusing on performance testing.
Oscar holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He also obtained a B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León in his hometown, Monterrey, Mexico.
