Yuan-Sheng Yu is a Managing Director, Consulting at Lux and leads the Energy Group’s consulting and advisory solutions. In this role, he is a trusted partner to industry executives, advising them on strategic initiatives and disruptive business opportunities capitalizing on emerging trends from climate change, decarbonization, and sustainability. Yuan-Sheng leads engagements with multinational corporations, venture capitalists, and government agencies to shape their innovation strategy around emerging technologies and novel business models by developing technology roadmaps and market entry strategies and assessing partnerships and investment opportunities. He has experience providing custom solutions for the oil and gas, utilities, industrials, chemicals, and materials sectors across a spectrum of topics, from carbon capture and utilization to hydrogen to energy storage, renewable energies, and industrial decarbonization. He is a sought-after speaker at industry events across the globe and brings an international perspective to all client engagements as a past leader of the Asia research team in Lux’s Singapore office.
