Chief Customer Officer
Michael Di Pietro is the Chief Customer Officer at Lux Research with three main focus areas: retention of clients, new business and day to day operational efficiency while also leading our global Client Engagement team. Michael is an industry expert in building sales and service teams to effectively position offerings, engage and serve clients, and implement processes to renew and grow business. From an operational perspective, Michael focuses on people, process, metrics, and technology.
Prior to joining Lux Research, Michael was senior vice president of AMR’s research advisory service, with responsibility for research analysis and content, advisory products and the company’s overall client management service delivery. He was also managing director of international operations, based in London, where in 1999 he led the company’s launch into Europe. He later developed, launched and managed several products along with managing company’s sales, service and research organizations at various times during his tenure. When AMR was acquired by Gartner in 2009, Michael served as Managing Vice President of Supply Chain Products & Management integrating people, products and clients between the two firms. In 2014, he was responsible for aligning Gartner’s sales, service and research efforts to exceed growth and retention targets while working closely with all internal organizations and Gartner’s strategic clients.
In addition to his industry accomplishments, Michael is a passionate and active participant in mentoring programs, specifically Year Up and the RAMP Program at Suffolk University where Michael sits as Vice President of the Sawyer Business School Alumni Board.
